If the water freezes in the hose, place the hose in a hot pipe and connect for 30 minutes to melt the ice and allow the water to flow.

The heating water hose does not provide any anti-freeze protection beyond its connection point. So make sure to provide antifreeze protection where it is connected to the water supply system.

In extremely cold temperatures, by allowing the water to flow slowly through the hose and allowing the faucet to drip inside, the pipe can be prevented from freezing.
