This 18mm gun lays the primer on well. I was a little hesitant to buy this as the reviews are quite mixed. I laid on 4 coats of Evercoat Feather Fill G2 polyester primer – which is seriously thick stuff – and had no issues with the gun. It does have a fair bit of prange peel, but I’ll be block sanding anyway. I did backwash the gun with acetone between mixes and only sprayed about 1/2 a quart each time. The fan pattern is quite wide. Very pleased with the gun and the outcome

I sprayed lacquer and vinyl sealer on chairs with this gun. No complaints on it. The adjustable air regulator was suspect, it didn’t seem to stay at a pressure and adjusting it didn’t seem to work very well. Otherwise the gun comes apart easy, the lid on the cup fits ok but can be troublesome. It sprayed ok but this was my first time spraying that type of fluid so maybe I did it wrong! Results were good. Even with the 1.8 tip I still thinned to get a better spray, I also added a water separator that worked well

looking for a spray gun to spray polyurethane. This is the gun you want. I recently decided I hate brushing on Poly. So I bought this gun to spray it on. perfect! thin the oil based down to 2/3 and 1/3 thinner. water base is straight. Very easy to clean out. 3 parts is all the comes off for cleaning

This is a great product. I liked the ability to spray latex paint. The stainless steel nozzle and pin cleaned up well and worked great every painting session. I painted an entire roomful of bookcases white. These turned out beautiful, better than expected. Super product for home use
