Cel-Fi GO X Installation

1. Install Outdoor Antenna

The most important part of installing your GO X is finding the outdoor location with the best outdoor signal. The Cel-Fi Wave app allows you to test and find the perfect location.

2. Mount & Install Cel-Fi GO X

After the Outdoor Antenna is installed, mount and connect the Cel-Fi GO X indoors, either in an attic, a closet, or somewhere out of the way.

3. Install Dome or Panel Antenna

Mount either the included dome or panel antenna inside the building. Dome antennas are installed in a ceiling, while panel antennas are wall-mounted. We include both, just choose which you want to use.

This kit is sold by the team at Waveform.

Control and Monitor the GO X With Your iOS or Android Device

The innovative Cel-Fi WAVE app gives you complete control over your Cel-Fi GO X. You can select which carrier to boost, which bands the device amplifies, and view detailed diagnostic information.

Please note: You will need internet access to download the Wave app.

WAVE app features include:

Switch between amplifying AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and US Cellular. Run an “Antenna Position Test” to help determine the best outdoor antenna location. See which frequency bands the GO X is amplifying. View diagnostic information about the GO X’s performance. Send a log of your GO X’s performance for troubleshooting help.

The GO X requires 1 to 2 bars of reliable, usable signal outdoors

The Cel-Fi GO X will amplify and bring in whatever signal you have outdoors. It’s critical that you have at least 1-2 bars of reliable, usable signal outdoors in order to get reliable signal indoors.

We recommend testing your signal outdoors before purchasing.

The GO X does not support Sprint or Verizon 2G/3G Service

Sprint users: The GO X does not support Sprint at this time.

Verizon users: The Cel-Fi GO X only amplifies Verizon LTE voice and data signal, not older 2G or 3G service. You must have 1-2 bars of reliable, usable 4G LTE signal outdoors for the GO X to work.

Kits include both Panel and Dome Antennas

Dome Antennas spread signal in all directions. To install a dome antenna, you need access to the back side of the ceiling (e.g. a loft or crawl space) to run cable.

Panel Antennas direct signal in the direction they are pointing. They can be installed on a wall.

We include both antennas in our kits – pick which one you want to use and discard the other.
