Some Things You Need To Know About The Projector Before Buying

Cannot connect to the projector with Apple device?

A: This is because your Apple device version is IOS 15.0 or higher or you are using iPhone13, then you only need to update the OTA to connect normally , if you don’t know how to update, please search for “OTA” in “Q&A”

Unable to watch movies on Netflix, Hulu and other apps?

A: Because of the HDCP copyright protection agreement, you need to use a fire stick or use an HDMI cable to connect to a computer to play the videos in the above APP (except Youtube).(Please make sure your computer allows screen mirroring)

Cannot connect to the projector with Google or Samsung phones?

A: Due to HDCP copyright is different, Google and Samsung phones do not support WiFi screen mirroring, Google and Samsung phones can only support Chrome-cast WiFi screen mirroring.Our projector is Mira-cast WiFi screen mirroring.

There is no sound when playing movies?

A: Reason 1

Our projector can only support Miracast protocol. If you are using some phone with other protocol(Like Google/MOTO/Sony) will occur no picture only audio works situation. you may need to use a wired connection or use another phone that with Miracast protocol.

Reason 2

This projector does not support Dolby , please make sure to turn off Dolby for Netflix, Hulu and other apps. If you are using the downloaded video to play, please make sure that the sound source of the movie you downloaded is not Dolby.

If you can’t determine whether it’s the source of the film, you can connect your phone and play a piece of music. If there is sound coming from the projector, then it means that the film source is a Dolby .

(Tip: Dolby may be described as surround sound. Please turn off Dolby or surround sound to play normally. Please make sure that the downloaded movie sound source does not contain these two sound sources)

2.RD850 is mainly used for home cinema.NOT recommended for Powerpoint, Word, Excel or Business presentation. For all home projectors, It will perform the best effect if under a relatively dark room environment.

3.Due to HDCP, watch the movie on Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, only via connect a laptop, fire tv stick, Roku, or Chrome cast.

4.This projector don’t have Bluetooth function, so you can’t connect the sound bar and earphones via Bluetooth, but you can connect the above audio devices through a 3.5mm audio interface.

5.Due to the Netflix copyright protection issue, the sound of some Netflix videos may not play properly, please turn off the Dolby Sound to fix it.
