From coarser grounds perfect for press, all the way through pour over and drip levels, the Scala is the perfect fit for a variety of slow brew methods. At its lower end, the Scala can even produce grounds perfect for a pressurized espresso portafilter. This means that it is a great grinder to start with as you work out what your new favorite at-home brew method might be!

The Scala features a 10 ounce bean hopper that is easily removed for cleaning and burr access. Removing the burrs from the grinder is also a breeze, which makes maintaining the Scala easy as can be, another bonus for new users.

Inside the Scala you’ll find sharp, solid conical steel burrs that make short work of coffee beans without adding any heat to the grounds. A low speed motor assists in delivering consistent grounds perfect for your brew.
