The wireless camera system does NOT mean it can work without any cables. It’s NOT battery operated. “Wireless” here refers to “Wireless Signal Transmission”, no need video cable between cameras and NVR (network video recorder). But power supply is still required to get 365×24 hours live surveillance video. This one-time job avoids dead cameras and frequent battery changing & costs.The 2TB Hard Drive has been pre-installed inside the recorder(NVR). The system supports video preview、recording、playback、backup without Internet. Please connect the recorder(NVR) to your home router by wired network or WIFI if you want to view camera image via APP on mobile phone.The 8-channel expandable system comes with 4 cameras. If you need more cameras, please choose our camera (ASIN: B0795192GM).The camera has a built-in micphone to support audio function(order after October, 2020), you can hear the voice from camera on the APP, but cannot talk to the camera. PTZ functions are not applicable.Please read the owner’s manual and test cameras’ WI-FI signal before finial installation.
